My Story
I enjoy capturing a moment in time as well as the lingering remembrance. Content creation, photography, and movement appear to be the dominant modes of expression at the moment. Living in Cape Town, South Africa, beauty surrounds me on a daily basis, therefore when traveling to new places, I try to capture my perspective of beauty. Beauty is, after all, in the eye of the beholder. Shaolin Cafe was intended to be a tea establishment where like-minded people could gather and exchange life ideas. The integration of society is symbolized by the Café, and Shaolin; literally means “young forest.”
Why Am I
The revival of Shaolin Café as a networking platform promotes the integrative lifestyle that many people are adopting these days.
Sustainable living necessitates finding ways to ensure that our way of life and the planet’s resources last as long as possible.
Art and fashion have influenced me throughout my life, leading me to where I’m at. My 28 years of working in the apparel and textile sectors, combined with owning two businesses and continued education and training, have expanded my horizons of unique skill sets.
My health and sanity in the art form of Chinese martial arts is my movement go-to.
Gravitating more toward graphic design, sketching, pastels, and photography to assist with the integrative idea of self-care to depict the depths of life’s balance.
Being a mom to two adult kids, wife, content creator, and self-taught web designer, coder, and videographer adds a unique dimension to my other skill sets, enabling me to better assist my clients.
