The Workshop is to learn both practical healing methods and theories. The symbols that makeup the5 Elements Qigong maintain the internal organs and enhance the muscles and bones for general health and fitness; each organ is associated with one of these symbols.

THE FIVE ELEMENTS QIGONG
The 5 Elements Qigong are symbols that have a specific meaning. Each organ is related to one of these symbols, and according to our understanding, they cooperate. For example, the element related to infection is fire. The more severe the infection, the more it burns (high temperature). When we feel hot from infection, we need to increase the circulation so that it can reduce or disperse the heat.
When the circulation is increased, it encourages the function of all the other organs. When yang is too high, use yin to balance it out by stimulating liquid along with the kidney or urinary bladder meridian. The process is not so simple. For example, the earth holds water. But if the earth is too loose, the wood element is used to keep it firm.
The Five Elements regulate and control the rise and fall of Qi inside the body – related to inhalation and exhalation. It is unique in balancing the energy and the functions of the inner organs.
It helps to regulate the internal organs and enhance the muscles and bones for general health and fitness. Using the Lower Dantian breathing can enhance the proper internal circulation of vital energy, relax the whole body, improve health, and help promote longevity.
It helps bring calmness and clarity. The body, mind, and spirit must harmonise as ONE. The movements must be even, relaxed and slow. Breathing must be regulated evenly when practicing the movements. This brings one to a calmed state, which improves the circulation of vital energy and the functions of the Zang /Fu organs.
One needs to use the mind to guide the circulation of Qi to every part of the body to cultivate internal energy.
Bring the mind into harmony with movement and breathing. Practice in a natural state. Do not concentrate too much on the movements, as it will lead to rigidity and tensions. Do not force the breathing. Breathe from the Lower Dantian. The Body should be completely relaxed and no physical force applied. To slow down the breathing and pulse, the mind must be calmed and the whole body completely relaxed.
